In Building Black Civilizations: Journey of 2,000 Ships, artist Ekow Nimako explores what might have been when ruler Abu Bakr II chose to abdicate his throne and set out across the Atlantic. Using LEGO® to recreate epic possibilities, Nimako creates a narrative of Black civilizations and imagines liberated futures. Dinosaurs Rule the Stage with Dinosaur World Live
On Saturday, May 25, life-size dinosaur puppets roam the Jack Singer Concert Hall stage to the delight of families and dinosaur loves young and old. The largest of these puppets, T. rex, is over 10 metres long! Join us for Dinosaur World Live on Saturday, May 25 at 2pm in the Jack Singer Concert Hall at Arts Commons for a spectacular performance of mammoth proportions!
Navigating a World of Ice with Kiliii Yüyan
Finishing off the 2023-24 season of National Geographic Live, Kiliii Yüyan: Life on Thin Ice takes audiences into the complex ecosystem that is the Arctic. Though it might seem inhospitable, the Arctic is teeming with life, including the 40 Indigenous tribes who call the frozen landscape home. Families welcome!
